Frequently asked questions
How does it know what is in stock?
From the items and prices you write into its instructions. If your billing or inventory software has a web API, it can look stock up during the call. When it does not know, it takes the caller's number for a callback instead of guessing.
Can it take payment over the phone?
No. It never takes card numbers, OTPs or payment on a call. Customers pay at your counter or however you already take payment.
Can it call customers when their order is ready?
Yes. Upload the numbers of customers whose orders are ready, and CellAssist calls each one to say their order is ready for pickup and asks roughly when they will come.
Can CellAssist use my shop's existing phone number?
Yes, on Pay as you go or Enterprise. You get a dedicated CellAssist number and forward your existing shop number to it, so callers keep dialling the number they already know.
How much does it cost for a shop?
You can start free: up to 5 outbound calls a day for 30 days, no card needed. To take calls on a number of your own, Pay as you go is ₹500 a month + GST, with up to 20 calls a day in your first month. Enterprise adds dedicated support; talk to sales.
